Location: Halifax Jazz Festival Waterfront Main Tent, Lower Water Street, Halifax 

SMU Alumni and their guests are invited to our VIP Experience at the Halifax Jazz Festival on Thursday, July 11th featuring JUNO award winner Bahamas, with opening act, The Barr Brothers.

Tickets are $40 each (HST included), $75 for 2 (HST included) and $30 (HST included) for students. Note that your student ID will need to be presented if you purchase a student ticket. 

Please make sure to use the $75 "2 VIP Jazz Fest Tickets (Bundle & Save $5!)" option to save $5 when buying two tickets. It's also important to note that buying one bundle means you are buying 2 tickets; if you want to buy 4 tickets, choose 2 bundles, etc.    

VIP tickets include:
• Skip The Line Access - get in to the festival grounds before everyone else!
• Private SMU Alumni VIP tent with food and a complimentary drink
• VIP bar - don't wait in a long line for a cold one!
• VIP bathroom access - don't miss half the concert waiting in line for the public port-a-potties
• Covered tent & seating - no need to worry about the weather!

This event takes place rain or shine - no refunds. We will only offer refunds in the event that Halifax Jazz Festival cancels the event due to extreme weather conditions.

Gates open for VIP ticket holders only at 7pm. Gates open for General Tickets/Pass Holders at 7:30pm. Music begins at 8:30pm. VIP ticket purchasers will be on our list at the gate, a physical ticket is not required. If purchasing multiple tickets, please send the names of your guests to the Alumni Office at alumni@smu.ca.
